On 9-11 September 2020, the World Bioeconomy Forum will relaunch -one more time- the debate on the bioeconomy’s potential to the transition towards a competitive and Green Europe. Join the discussion on Ruka (Finland) on how effectively use our natural resources to foster economic growth in the most sustainable way.
A sustainable bioeconomy has the potential to drive competitiveness, economic growth and, at the same time guarantee the protection of our environment and the enhancement of biodiversity.
Program is based on themes:
- Biostrategy roundtable
- Sustainable Financing – Bioeconomy as an investment opportunity
- CEO panel – What do global executives think about the circular bioeconomy
- How to get educated for Bioeconomy
- Evolving value chains based on bio-feedstock – Case Lignin
The first conference day will be followed by the "Theme Dinner – carbon footprint and the role of wood constructions". The eveing event is organised with the support of EOS, CEI-BOIS, Pöyry, Rukakeskus and WCBEF.
