EOS, in its presentation, has emphasized that the market for sawnwood was very lively over the course of 2021 and that also in the medium and long-term demand is expected to remain high as wood products are being increasingly recognized as giving an important contribution in the fight against climate change. On the other hand, a stable supply of affordable raw materials is definitely the biggest challenge for the sawmill industry in the coming years.
