Representatives of the wood industries and wood companies are cordially invited to the mid-term conference of the European woodworking social partners EU co-funded project RESILIENTWOOD.

• The conference will take place in person only, on the 7^th of September 2023 at the ZONAR ZAGREB Hotel, Zagreb Croatia.

This event will showcase some of the initial findings of the RESILIENTWOOD project that aim at providing social partners with an overview of the latest developments of the woodworking sector in Europe, including the economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as expected technological and organisational changes within woodworking companies, skills needs and gender balance.

In addition to sharing key finding, there will also be a dedicated session on showcasing good practices in recruiting, training, and skills development.

• A preferential rate has been negotiated with the Hotel of 104 euro per night. We kindly ask you to book your stay at ZONAR ZAGREB hotel (Trg Krešimira Ćosića 9, 10000, Zagreb, Croatia), via hellozagreb@maistra.hr, mentioning you are a guest for the RESILIENTWOOD Conference.
• Participants will be requested to pay their own travel and hotel accommodation.
• Partial reimbursement will be offered only upon actual attendance and after receiving the original payment proofs. Mainly, the organisers will cover the following costs:
  • 1 night stay for a max of 104 euro per participant;
  • Unit cost for travel, following the EU rules (see the document in annex, page 9 point 5 and 5.1).
