Publication of feasibility study on the establishment of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) Digital Product Passport (DPP) system
The main objective of this document is to explore three possible options, presented in a way that enables the Commission to compare them across different aspects and apply weighting to each factor to support informed decision making. This is based on desk research and analysis of the technical requirements for the implementation of the DPP system defined in the new Construction Products Regulation (CPR), analysing the feasibility from an economic and technological perspective. It considers the requirements defined in the CPR, such as compatibility with BIM and with the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR).
