On 25 September 2025, DigiMedFor and SINTETIC will co‑host their joint Dissemination Event at the historic Vallombrosa Abbey (Via S. Benedetto, 2, 50066 Vallombrosa, Florence, Italy) . The event aims to spotlight innovative technologies for Mediterranean forest management, offering live demos and technical presentations geared toward forest managers, researchers, policymakers, and tech suppliers.

Key speakers include:

• Representatives from Carabinieri Forestali, delivering the welcome address

• Project coordinators Gianni Picchi (SINTETIC) and Luigi Saulino (DigiMedFor) presenting overviews of their respective initiatives.

• An expert from CNR IBE, presenting a policy brief on early‑wood quality evaluation

The program features a series of technical talks on cutting‑edge digital tools—such as the TRESTIMA APP, ARBOREAL smartphone application, SIMTRONA’s RFID timber‑tracking system, the DigiMedFor Traceability Platform, Blue Biloba’s Forest Sharing, and MARE GROUP’s Virtual Decision Support System—followed by a hands‑on field trip in the afternoon.
