The implementing regulation detailing the operation of the information system was published in the EU’s Official Journal on 6 December. It is on this IT platform, which opened at the beginning of December, that operators and retailers marketing goods covered by the EUDR regulation must complete their ‘due diligence’ declarations. The delegated regulation sets out in detail the rules governing the protection of personal data. The text also stipulates that the European Commission must ensure that users of the information system can fill in their declarations automatically.
